Job summary

Truist seeks a Regular Universal Banker in the Washington, DC area to perform client transactions, maintain accurate records, and promote digital banking solutions. You will deliver a distinctive client experience and support outbound calls and IRM activities.

The role requires a high school diploma and 2 years of teller/cash handling or client service, plus 6 months of sales/relationship-building experience. Weekend hours and travel may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Two years teller/cash handling or client service experience
• Six months client relationship building or sales experience
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to master PC keyboard and software for branch automation
• Ability to multi-task under time constraints
• Proficiency in basic computer applications (MS Office)
• Willingness to travel to cover temporary staffing needs
• Weekend and/or extended hours with possible travel/overnights

Responsibilities

• Provide a distinctive client experience with courteous conversations and handle transactions with accuracy.
• Educate clients on digital self-service solutions (ATMs, Online/Mobile banking).
• Support sales by outbound client outreach and identifying needs or opportunities.
• Understand and apply Integrated Relationship Management (IRM) for client solutions.
• Participate in Retail Community Bank Leadership routines and trainings.
• Adhere to internal controls, procedures and risk management policies.
• Serve as secondary contact for new account openings and issue resolution.
