Job summary

Truist in Washington, DC is seeking an Universal Banker to provide timely client service, process transactions, and maintain accurate records.

You will educate clients on digital banking, participate in outbound outreach, support Integrated Relationship Management, and help with new accounts while adhering to controls.

Strong interpersonal skills and basic PC skills required; weekend hours and some travel may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two years teller or cash handling or client service experience.
• Six months of client relationship building or sales experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to master PC keyboard and software for branch automation.

Responsibilities

• Provide timely and accurate client transactions while maintaining records.
• Educate clients on digital banking (ATMs, Online, Mobile).
• Support sales with outbound client outreach and needs identification.
• Understand Integrated Relationship Management (IRM) for Truist solutions.
• Participate in retail community bank leadership routines.
• Attend training to advance product knowledge and adherence to policies.
• Assist with new account openings and problem resolution.
