Job summary

Truist in Washington, DC seeks a Universal Banker to deliver distinctive client experiences and process transactions. You will educate clients on digital banking tools and participate in branch initiatives.

The role requires a high school diploma, 2+ years teller or client service experience, and strong interpersonal/communication skills. Weekend/extended hours and travel may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent education.
• Two years teller/cash handling or client service experience.
• Six months of client relationship building or sales experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to master PC keyboard and software for branch automation.
• Ability to multi-task under time constraints.
• Proficiency in basic computer applications such as Microsoft Office.
• Ability to travel to accommodate temporary staffing needs and changes.
• Ability to work weekends/extended hours with travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide a distinctive client experience by engaging clients and handling transactions.
• Educate clients on digital, self-service solutions to enhance convenience.
• Support team sales by outreach and identifying client needs or opportunities.
• Understand Integrated Relationship Management (IRM) to deliver Truist expertise.
• Participate in Retail Community Bank Leadership routines.
• Advance knowledge through training and product knowledge meetings.
• Adhere to internal controls and risk management policies.
• Serve as secondary contact for new account openings and resolutions.
