Job summary

Truist Financial Corporation is hiring a Part Time Universal Banker in Rockville, MD. You will provide courteous client service, process transactions, and guide customers toward digital solutions.

Outreach to clients, support for branch sales, and knowledge of IRM are key. This role requires excellent communication, ability to multi-task, and willingness to travel for staffing needs; weekends and extended hours may apply.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two years of teller or cash handling or client service experience.
• Six months of client relationship building or sales experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including a desire to interact with clients and prospects.
• Ability to master PC keyboard and software skills for branch automation.
• Ability to multi-task under time constraints.
• Proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office.
• Ability to travel to accommodate temporary staffing needs; includes travel and variable hours; may require weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide a distinctive client experience while handling complex and standardized transactions with accuracy.
• Educate clients on digital self-service options (ATMs, Online and Mobile banking).
• Support sales through outbound client outreach and referrals to branch teams.
• Understand and apply Integrated Relationship Management (IRM) to deliver Truist solutions.
• Participate in Retail Community Bank Leadership routines and training sessions.
• Maintain knowledge of policies, procedures and internal controls.
• Serve as secondary contact for new accounts and issue resolution; adjust workload to branch needs.
