Job summary

Fifth Third Bank is seeking a Personal Banker II to deliver an exceptional customer experience by building and maintaining relationships with existing and prospective customers. You will help customers address financial needs through a consultative sales and service approach while adhering to risk policies and procedures.

The role emphasizes helping customers across their lifecycle and collaborating with internal partners to resolve issues and provide suitable solutions.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED with 1 year of customer service.
• Sales experience required; financial industry a plus.
• Ability to analyze credit and financial information.
• Ability to represent Fifth Third Bank professionally.

Responsibilities

• Create a memorable customer experience by cultivating, maintaining, and enhancing relationships in an assigned book of business through proactive outreach efforts in person, over the phone, or other channels as appropriate.
• Use of a consultative approach with current or prospective customers to uncover and identify their needs while tailoring recommendations/solutions/advice.
• Maintain working knowledge of products, services, and processes offered.
• Work collaboratively with internal partners to ensure customer's needs are met and all problems are resolved.
• Analyze customer credit data and other related financial information to ensure customers are in the appropriate solutions that align with their needs.
• Provide customer support needed reinforcing the value of current and new technology.
• Follow the Bancorp Code of Business Conduct and Ethics and other related policies, modeling the ethical behavior expected from every employee within the Bancorp.
• Other duties as assigned.
