Job summary

Truist is seeking a customer-centric Associate to deliver timely client transactions and accurate records, while educating clients on digital channels to enhance service. The role supports sales through outbound calls and IRM initiatives.

Responsibilities include handling complex and standard transactions, maintaining controls, and assisting with new accounts as needed. This position requires weekend hours and travel as needed. Regular, 1st shift in the United States.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent education.
• Two years teller, cash handling or client service experience.
• Six months of client relationship building or sales experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to master PC keyboard and software for branch automation.
• Ability to multi-task under time constraints.
• Proficiency in basic computer applications, e.g., Microsoft Office.
• Willingness to travel for temporary staffing or locale changes.
• Ability to work weekends and/or extended hours with travel/overnights.

Responsibilities

• Provide a distinctive client experience by handling transactions and assisting clients with needs.
• Educate clients on digital self-service options including ATMs, Online and Mobile banking.
• Support sales via outbound calls and identify client needs for referrals to branch team members.
• Understand Integrated Relationship Management (IRM) and deliver Truist expertise to clients.
• Participate in Retail Community Bank Leadership routines and training sessions.
• Advance product knowledge through meetings and trainings for better client service.
• Adhere to internal controls and risk management policies and keep up with policy changes.
• Serve as secondary contact for new accounts and problem resolution, handling workload as branch demands.
