Job summary

Truist is hiring for a Regular, first-shift position in the United States. The role focuses on delivering timely and accurate client transactions while identifying financial needs and supporting outbound calling and IRM activities.

The successful candidate will educate clients on digital self-service options and maintain strong interpersonal skills to build relationships within the branch team and with clients.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent education.
• Two years of teller or cash handling or client service experience.
• Six months of client relationship building or sales experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including a desire to interact with clients and prospects.
• Ability to master personal computer (PC) keyboard and software skills necessary for branch automation.
• Ability to multi-task under time constraints.
• Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office software products.
• Ability to travel to accommodate temporary staffing needs as required to include temporary assignment or locale changes.
• Ability to work weekends and/or extended hours with occasional travel and overnights may be included.

Responsibilities

• Provide a distinctive client experience to ensure a consistent service level by engaging clients with smiling and courteous conversation, handling transactions.
• Educate clients on digital and self-service solutions including ATMs and Online/Mobile banking.
• Support team sales by outbound calls, checking for client offers, and identifying needs or opportunities.
• Understand Integrated Relationship Management (IRM) to deliver Truist expertise and solutions.
• Participate in all components of the Truist Retail Community Bank Leadership routines.
• Attend training and product knowledge sessions to advance knowledge for better service.
• Adhere to internal controls and risk management policies and stay informed of policy changes.
• Serve as secondary contact for new account openings and issue resolution, handling workload per branch demands.
