Job summary

Truist in Hanover, MD is seeking a Universal Banker to provide timely client transactions, maintain accurate records, and help meet clients’ financial needs. You will handle standard and complex transactions with care and offer courteous, personalized service.

The role includes promoting digital banking, supporting sales through outreach, and collaborating with the Integrated Relationship Management team. You must be able to work weekends, travel if needed, and navigate branch automation

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent education.
• Two years of teller or cash handling or client service experience.
• Six months of client relationship building or sales experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to master PC keyboard and software skills for branch automation.
• Ability to multi-task under time constraints.
• Proficiency in basic computer applications, including Microsoft Office.
• Ability to travel for temporary staffing as required.
• Ability to work weekends and/or extended hours with occasional travel.

Responsibilities

• Provide timely completion of client transactions with accurate records and proper handling of funds.
• Deliver superior service and identify client financial needs.
• Cross-trained to support sales and service activities, including outbound calls and IRM support.
• Educate clients on digital, self-service solutions including ATMs and Online/Mobile banking.
• Support sales process through outreach and referrals to branch team members.
• Understand Integrated Relationship Management to deliver Truist solutions.
• Participate in Retail Community Bank Leadership routines.
• Advance knowledge through training and meetings on products and services.
• Adhere to controls, procedures and risk management policies.
• Serve as secondary contact for new accounts and problem resolution.
