Job summary

Everwise Credit Union is seeking a member service associate to deliver high-quality service across financial products and services. The role focuses on building member relationships, handling cash and transactions, and supporting sales referrals.

You will assist in opening new accounts, operate an ITM, and participate in outreach to promote products while maintaining confidentiality and accuracy in all duties.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent certification.
• Six months of retail sales and/or cash handling experience or equivalent experience within a financial institution or related field preferred

Responsibilities

• Maintains a high level of member service in accordance with EVERWISE CREDIT UNION Service Expectations.
• Performs a broad variety of member service functions with accuracy and in a timely manner, including cash handling, financial transactions, account maintenance, opening new accounts, operating an ITM, and supporting MCC.
• Maintains confidentiality about member account information.
• Meets or exceeds referral and sales goals by listening for clues, asking open-ended questions, assisting with product promotions, or referring members to the appropriate partner.
• Assists in outbound call efforts by updating and calling on prospect lists, following up with members and call campaigns.
• May perform additional retail functions including drawer audits, member account maintenance, and vault duties.
• Comply with policy limits (Check Cashing, Cash Control, Transaction Approval Limits) and related regulations.
• Volunteers for special projects within job responsibilities.
• Solves problems through research, using open-ended questions and consistent follow-up to ensure member satisfaction.
• Assumes additional duties as assigned for growth of the Credit Union.
