Qualifications

• Two years retail experience with at least one year in customer service
• Six months cash handling experience in a customer service/retail environment
• Basic math proficiency for transactions and balancing cash drawer
• Proficiency with Word, Excel and email for daily banking operations
• Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to change

Responsibilities

• Achieves sales goals by identifying and cross-selling products and services beneficial to customers
• Listen carefully to customers’ needs to determine appropriate product and services
• Identify new banking customers and grow relationships with existing customers through in-store interactions, outbound calls and displays
• Provide exceptional customer service in an accurate and expedient manner that satisfies individual needs and builds loyalty
• Enhance customer satisfaction and professional reputation of the Bank through friendly engagement with customers and store partners
• Follow branch security procedures and protect customer confidentiality and privacy
• Process a variety of customer transactions accurately and in line with bank policies (cashing checks, deposits, withdrawals, etc)
• Perform opening, closing, and other branch servicing duties (cash balancing, ATM servicing, maintaining work areas)
• Adhere to company policies to ensure proper records and losses prevention
• Present a professional image and respond constructively to direction and feedback
• Contribute to a positive and respectful work atmosphere
