Job summary

Ocean Bank’s Orlando branch is seeking a Retail Banking Representative to open new accounts and support customers with account-related inquiries.

You will perform teller duties, handle deposits and cash equivalents, and assist in KYC documentation while cross-selling bank products to clients. This role requires strong communication, cash handling, and customer service skills on-site in Orlando.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with at least two (2) years of teller or related financial customer service experience in handling cash and one (1) year of banking experience required. New Accounts experience preferred. Must possess the ability to deal with customers in a pleasant and effective manner.
• Must be knowledgeable of internal bank operations (wire transfers, debits/credits and loan payments) and of banking products to cross-sell.
• Must possess good verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Must possess good computer knowledge in MS Software, (e.g. Excel, Word, and Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Opens new accounts and ensures proper documentation.
• Assists customers with account inquiries and cross-sells bank products.
• Performs teller duties, processes deposits, checks, money orders, and cash advances.
• Gathers CTR data for large transactions and balances the cash drawer.
• Inputs data and documents KYC and supports internal departments.
