Job summary

Truist is seeking a Regular, full-time Banking Associate to deliver timely client service and accurate handling of all monies. The role emphasizes outbound calling, assisting with Integrated Relationship Management (IRM), and supporting sales and service activities.

Responsibilities include handling complex transactions, educating clients on digital banking, and maintaining compliance with internal controls and policies. Weekend/extended hours and travel may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Two years of teller or cash handling or client service experience.
• Six months of client relationship building or sales experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to master PC keyboard and software for branch automation.
• Ability to multi-task under time constraints.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
• Ability to travel to accommodate temporary staffing needs; some weekend/extended hours may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide a distinctive client experience by engaging clients and handling complex and standardized transactions.
• Educate clients on digital and self-service solutions (ATMs, Online and Mobile banking).
• Support sales by outbound client outreach and identifying needs or opportunities.
• Understand Integrated Relationship Management (IRM) to deliver Truist expertise.
• Participate in Retail Community Bank Leadership routines.
• Attend training to advance product knowledge and service capabilities.
• Adhere to internal controls, procedures, and risk management policies.
• Serve as secondary contact for new account openings and issue resolution.
