Job summary

Community Financial System, Inc. is seeking a Relationship Banking Representative to act as a friendly, knowledgeable front-line ambassador at our Community Bank branch.

The role blends teller duties with consultative conversations to deliver a consistent, customer-centric experience. This part-time position requires strong interpersonal skills, two years of customer service experience, and the ability to manage multiple tasks.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Internal product knowledge, teller, and platform training preferred.
• Ability to attend a 5–7 day initial training program with travel reimbursement.
• Reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a welcoming, professional customer experience in-branch.
• Build trust by listening and understanding customer needs and goals.
• Process transactions and inquiries with accuracy; open/close accounts; initiate transfers.
• Educate customers on digital banking tools and self-service options.
• Assist with issues such as balance discrepancies and fraud; coordinate with partners to resolve.
