Job summary

TD is seeking a part-time Customer Service/Teller role in Williamstown, NJ. You will be the first point of contact for clients, handling everyday banking tasks, educating customers on products, and guiding them to appropriate specialists to help reach their financial goals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1+ years of experience working with clients in a service or financial setting.
• Teller or cash-handling experience preferred.
• Ability to work during evenings, weekends and holidays as scheduled.
• Complete required job training upon hire.
• Strong organization skills for multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication: concise, clear, and consistent.
• Proven problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to schedule and prioritize work.
• Independent and deadline-driven.
• Sound judgment in decision making.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Notary License preferred.

Responsibilities

• Orchestrates the overall client experience by managing client flow and serving as the first point of contact for inquiries, issue resolution, and referrals.
• Serves as hospitality ambassador, delivering consistent, relationship-driven client experiences.
• Creates personalized, client-first interactions that build trust from first engagement.
• Educates clients on banking products and digital capabilities and connects them to specialists as needed.
• Engages clients through proactive outreach and scheduling for consumer account needs.
• Balances client needs with policy, risk awareness, and compliant outcomes.
• Advocates for clients by showing empathy, integrity, and a long-term perspective.

Education

High school diploma or GED

1+ years demonstrated experience working with clients

Teller or cash-handling experience in a client facing/financial institution preferred

Ability to work during operating hours to include evenings, weekends and holidays as scheduled

Ability to complete required job-related training upon hire

Strong organization skills to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment

Excellent communication skills with ability to be concise, clear and consistent

Demonstrated effective problem-solving skills

Demonstrated ability to schedule and prioritize work

Demonstrated ability to work independently and within deadlines

Sound judgment in decision making and problem solving

Proficient in Microsoft Office
