Job summary

Citizens Bankers greet customers at the branch, listen to needs and offer trusted financial advice across everyday transactions, loans, and cards. You’ll promote digital tools and build lasting relationships while guiding customers toward tailored solutions.

With strong communication and problem-solving skills, you’ll help customers set and achieve financial goals, collaborating with Wealth Management and Mortgage teams for more complex needs.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 2 years of sales and customer service experience, meeting or exceeding goals.
• Ability to ask questions and identify needs to improve the customer relationship.
• Proven success in building relationships and referring products through in-person and phone interactions.
• Ability to use digital technology to support business goals.
• Problem solve and provide solutions; collaborate with teammates and partners.
• Self-motivated, confident and able to multitask.
• Ability to work branch hours, including weekends and evenings.
• Meet SAFE Act requirements including pre-employment checks and NMLS identifier.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with financial solutions across spending, saving, borrowing and investing.
• Provide recommendations and tailor financial plans to individual goals.
• Introduce customers to digital tools (app, ATMs) and guide usage.
• Collaborate with Wealth Management, Mortgage and Business Banking partners for complex needs.
• Make outbound calls to acquire new customers and schedule checkups.
• Follow all financial policies and cash-handling procedures.
