Job summary

Regions Bank seeks a Relationship Banker – Team Lead in Ridgeland, MS to guide branch activities and coach a team of bankers. You will identify customer needs, offer Regions solutions, and drive branch performance in a dynamic retail environment.

You will coach staff, promote digital banking, and ensure compliance while delivering exceptional service to customers and prospects in person and by phone. A strong leadership mindset is essential for growth and community impact.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Two years of banking, sales, and/or customer service experience.
• Ability to work Saturdays as needed.
• Cash handling and cash transactions experience.
• Excellent in-person, phone, and electronic communication.
• Proficient computer use with typing and monitoring screens.
• Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 20 pounds.
• Bachelor’s degree is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Guide and direct branch activities with the Branch Manager.
• Proactively identify customer needs and offer Regions solutions to meet goals.
• Make outbound calls to expand relationships and acquire new clients.
• Collaborate with leadership on new business opportunities and community outreach.
• Coach junior bankers to strengthen product knowledge and customer focus.
• Educate customers on Regions’ products including loans and deposits.
• Promote digital banking solutions and self-service options.
• Ensure a positive customer experience and smooth transaction flow.
• Oversee compliance and update teams on new procedures.
• Refer customers to internal specialists for additional goals.
