Job summary

Regions Bank in Ridgeland, Mississippi is seeking a Relationship Banker – Team Lead to meet with customers in person and by phone, assess their financial needs, and guide them toward appropriate products to help achieve goals.

The role includes coaching a team of bankers and stepping in for the Branch Manager when needed, offering opportunities for growth and upward mobility within a results-driven environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Two years of banking, sales, and/or customer service experience.
• Ability to work Saturdays as needed.
• Ability to handle cash and process cash transactions.
• Ability to communicate in person, on the phone, and through electronic channels.
• Ability to use a computer on a frequent basis, including typing and sustained attention to a monitor.
• Ability to walk and stand for extended periods of time.
• Ability to lift up to twenty pounds.

Responsibilities

• Partners with the Branch Manager to guide and direct all branch activities.
• Achieves branch targets and goals by identifying customer needs and offering Regions’ solutions.
• Conducts outbound calls to expand relationships and acquire new customers.
• Partners with branch leadership on new business development opportunities.
• Provides coaching to junior bankers to strengthen product knowledge.
• Educates customers on Regions’ Consumer and Business products and services.
• Educates customers on digital banking and ATM offerings.
• Ensures a consistent optimal customer experience and smooth operations.
• Oversees branch operational and compliance-related tasks.
• Resolves escalated issues and supports hiring decisions.
