Job summary

First Merchants Bank seeks a Customer Relationship Representative (Universal Banker) to join our team. This full-time role focuses on delivering high-quality customer service, accurately processing bank transactions, and recommending bank products to meet customers' financial needs.

The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, 1 year of sales/banking experience, and willingness to travel within the assigned region.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum 6 months of experience selling products or services.
• Minimum 1 year of sales, banking, and/or related experience.
• Extensive travel required; daily travel to banking centers within the region.
• S.A.F.E. Act Registration through NMLS within 3 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service by processing banking transactions and answering inquiries.
• Balance cash and perform daily transactions; assist with opening/closing banking centers.
• Sell bank products and refer customers to meet sales goals and service needs.
• Train, coach, and guide staff in operations and sales skills; participate in training sessions.
