Job summary

First Horizon Bank is seeking a Universal Banker/Teller to engage clients in consultative conversations, identify banking needs, and guide them through deposits and loans. You will support teller operations, deliver excellent service, and refer customers to mortgage, wealth, and other banking lines.

With 2–5 years’ experience, you will stay informed on products, participate in training, and contribute to a high-performing sales culture while ensuring regulatory compliance and efficient branch

Qualifications

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• 2 – 5 years of experience as a Universal Banker or Teller.

Responsibilities

• Proactive Sales Engagement: engage clients in consultative conversations and recommend banking solutions.
• Growth Focus: identify and fulfill deposit and borrowing needs; open deposit accounts; take loan applications.
• Client-Centric Financial Advice: provide tailored advice aligned with clients' goals and bank products.
• Referrals: deepen relationships and refer to mortgage, wealth, private client, and business banking.
• Proactive Client Outreach: conduct regular calls to clients and prospects.
• Sales Leadership: coach associates on sales, referrals, products and services as needed.
• Responsible for supporting the teller line and processing transactions as needed.
• Deliver excellent client experiences and promptly resolve issues.
• Attend training and product knowledge sessions to enhance client service.
