First Bank Richmond is seeking an experienced Universal Banker to deliver comprehensive banking services to both consumer and commercial customers. The role blends teller transactions with relationship-based sales, ensuring a seamless customer experience across service channels.

The Universal Banker engages customers in meaningful financial conversations, identifies needs, and recommends appropriate bank products while maintaining compliance with bank policies and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior banking, retail, or customer service experience preferred.
• Experience working with both consumer and small business clients is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Deliver exceptional service to consumer and commercial clients in person and via phone.
• Build and deepen customer relationships by understanding financial needs and goals.
• Conduct needs-based conversations and provide tailored banking solutions.
• Resolve customer issues promptly and elevate complex concerns as appropriate.
• Process deposits, withdrawals, payments, and other teller transactions accurately.
• Balance cash drawer and maintain accurate transaction records.
• Support both routine and complex transactions for consumer and business clients.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve financial center goals.
• Support branch operations including opening/closing duties and dual control procedures.
• Contribute to a positive, customer-focused team environment.
