United Bank is seeking a Universal Banker in the Richmond area to provide proactive, consultative service and build trusted customer relationships. You will assist with branch operations, deliver a memorable client experience, and work toward sales goals while handling service requests.

You will maintain knowledge of bank products, present suitable solutions, conduct financial reviews, and collaborate with colleagues to resolve issues.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree a plus.
• 3+ years of customer contact experience or 2+ years in banking environment.
• Sales-oriented and relationship-building demeanor.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; Spanish a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and core banking systems knowledge is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers proactively and connect with them to assess needs.
• Provide accurate, efficient branch transactions with high service quality.
• Maintain knowledge of bank products and services to discuss with clients.
• Proactively contact customers with pre-approved offers and schedule reviews.
• Refer customers to other bank associates when appropriate.
• Assist with daily branch operations and comply with policies.
• Support risk and security procedures and monitor for suspicious activity.
