Job summary

Webster Bank is seeking a Relationship Banker 2 in Watertown, CT to serve Banking Center customers and help the team reach sales, service, and operation goals. You will process customer transactions and use strong communication to uncover financial needs and build trust.

You will contribute to generating leads, collaborate with business segments, and coach fellow bankers. The role requires adapting to a rotating schedule, weekend hours, and travel between Banking Centers as needed.

Qualifications

• 3-4 years customer service and needs-based banking sales experience preferred
• 0-2 years supervisory experience preferred
• Demonstrated success in leading, coaching, and motivating
• Working knowledge of all banking products and services
• Keeps current with all branch transaction processing systems
• Strong customer service skills and teamwork ability
• Ability to work a flexible and/or rotating schedule, including weekends

Responsibilities

• The Relationship Banker 2 role will provide services for Banking Center customers and assist the team in achievement of sales, service, and operation goals.
• Process all customer-related financial transactions in accordance with the bank's rules, regulations, and guidelines.
• Learn about customers’ financial needs, establish trust, optimize sales opportunities, generate leads, and provide quality customer service.
• Develop and maintain a strong partnership with various business segments through collaboration and communication.
• Assist with supervision of banking center colleagues offering coaching support to fellow bankers.
• Act as a role model and help onboard new bankers.
