Job summary

Santander Webster Bank is seeking a Banking Center Rel Banker II to serve customers in a fast-paced Wantagh, NY location. You will process transactions, identify financial needs, and drive sales while maintaining high service quality and compliance.

Ideal candidates have 3-4 years in banking customer service and 0-2 years supervisory experience, with HS Diploma/GED and preferred advanced degrees. Travel to other Banking Centers may be required.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• Advanced degrees (Associates and/or Bachelor’s) preferred.
• 3-4 years customer service and needs-based banking sales experience preferred.
• 0-2 years supervisory experience preferred.
• Demonstrated success in leading, coaching, and motivating.
• Working knowledge of all products and services.

Responsibilities

• Responds to customers’ needs with accurate, timely service and uses available tools.
• Evaluates client needs and offers appropriate financial products through needs-based conversations.
• Performs routine teller transactions (deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, etc.).
• Supports growth initiatives to meet branch sales, service and operations goals.
• Supervises and coaches fellow bankers and helps onboard new staff.
