Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of sales or customer service experience; bachelor’s degree can substitute.
• Able to perform routine transactions and balance cash drawer.
• Excellent customer service skills with product knowledge.
• Pass assessments related to customer service and math skills.
• Able to meet sales goals in a retail environment.
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn internal systems.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Time management and attention to detail required.
• Professional appearance and demeanor for daily public interaction.
• Cash drawer balancing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify customer needs and make referrals to appropriate bank products and services.
• Service, sell, and cross-sell deposit accounts, loans, insurance, and cash management services.
• Deliver an exceptional customer experience following Trustmark’s service standards.
• Safeguard assets and process a variety of transactions accurately (deposits, withdrawals, wires, loan payments, etc.).
• Balance cash drawer daily and ensure proper documentation.
• Achieve sales and referral goals quarterly through proactive outreach.
• Make outreach calls to customers and prospects.
• Comply with bank policies, procedures, and performance standards.
• Travel between branch locations as needed.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
