Job summary

Trustmark is seeking a Relationship Banker to identify customer needs and match them with bank products. You will service, sell, and cross-sell deposits, loans, and other financial services while delivering an exceptional customer experience.

The role includes cash handling, balancing drawers, and meeting quarterly sales goals in a branch network. Travel between branch locations as needed and participate in outreach to customers and prospects, while adhering to Trustmark policies and standards

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or GED.
• 1 year sales or customer service experience.
• Ability to perform routine transactions and balance cash drawer.
• Strong customer service and product knowledge with Trustmark offerings.
• Basic math and computer skills; able to learn internal systems.
• Excellent communication and detail orientation.

Responsibilities

• Identify customer needs and make referrals through proactive sales/service efforts.
• Service, sell, and cross-sell deposit accounts, loans, insurance, and more.
• Deliver an exceptional customer experience following Trustmark service standards.
• Safeguard assets and process transactions accurately (deposits/withdrawals, wires, loans).
• Balance cash drawer daily and ensure proper documentation.
• Achieve sales/referral goals quarterly while delivering great service.
• Make outreach calls to customers and prospects.
• Comply with bank policies and performance standards.
• Travel between branch locations and perform additional duties as assigned.
