Job summary

Bristol County Savings Bank in Dartmouth, MA is seeking a Universal Banker I to handle all customer interactions, sales, and transaction processing. The role emphasizes building relationships by cross-selling bank products while delivering exceptional service and complying with bank policies.

The position reports to the Retail Branch Manager/VP Manager of Retail Banking and requires strong interpersonal and communication skills, with Spanish preferred.

Qualifications

• Spanish Speaking Preferred.
• Knowledge of financial institution operations and procedures.
• Ability to interpret and apply banking laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide highest level of service and responsiveness to customers and the community.
• Meet or exceed financial objectives through sales and relationship building.
• May manage a Personal Banker Portfolio.
• Demonstrate and promote automated banking channels.
• Handle servicing of customer accounts and resolve issues with excellent service.
• Ensure compliance with policies, procedures and risk controls.
• Develop proficiency in Bank systems to service customers effectively.
• Coordinate branch operations to ensure quality service and proper functions.
• Assist with branch operations and training of branch personnel.
• Represent the Bank in community activities and industry events.
• Work toward full UB II certification within 9 months.
• Uphold information security policies and controls.
• Analyze data to identify threats, trends, issues and process improvements.
• Engage in special projects and other duties as assigned.
• Perform related tasks as needed.
