Job summary

BayCoast Bank's Dartmouth Street Branch in South Dartmouth, MA is seeking a Universal Banker to deliver outstanding service and build lasting customer relationships. The role combines teller transactions, account openings, and tailored financial solutions under the Branch Manager.

Candidates should have a high school diploma, at least 4 months of customer service, cash handling experience, and strong communication skills. NMLS registration will be required; bilingual abilities are a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 4 months of customer service experience.
• Prior cash handling experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to obtain and maintain NMLS registration.
• Bilingual Spanish/Portuguese a plus but not required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends.
• Reliable transportation required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver professional, friendly, and efficient service.
• Respond to customer inquiries and resolve issues.
• Educate customers on banking products.
• Identify customer needs and recommend products.
• Generate referrals across business lines.
• Open accounts and assist with loan applications.
• Process teller transactions and balance accurately.
• Perform account maintenance and issue debit cards.
• Participate in training and marketing initiatives.
• Support branch operations and cross-training.
