Job summary

Extraco Banks, N.A. seeks a dedicated Relationship Banker to build and nurture customer relationships, open and service accounts, and drive business growth through referrals to various sales departments.

You will be the face of the branch, delivering exceptional service while expanding the bank's client base. In this role you will handle cash transactions, greet customers, promote digital banking tools, and contribute to monthly sales targets.

Qualifications

• 4 year degree strongly preferred
• 3 years of cash handling experience strongly preferred
• 2 years retail banking experience strongly preferred
• 3-5 years of customer service or sales experience required
• Experience in opening accounts for Small Business customers (nice to have)

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong, trusting relationships with customers.
• Safely and accurately handle cash, coins, and negotiable instruments, processing a wide range of banking transactions.
• Open and service checking and savings accounts.
• Identify opportunities to make product recommendations based on customers' financial needs.
• Promote digital banking and assist customers with mobile app and online banking tools.
• Refer customers to mortgage, wealth management and insurance departments.
• Onboard new customers and document services completed.
• Meet monthly sales and service metrics.
• Assist customers and colleagues with a helpful, friendly demeanor.
