Job summary

Truist Wealth in Johnson City, TN, seeks a Regular Retail Client Service Associate to deliver industry-leading service in person and by phone. You will develop client relationships, offer financial solutions, and collaborate with specialists to grow business and refer opportunities.

Cross-training to perform teller duties may be required; weekend/extended hours and travel for staffing may be possible. Strong communication and 2+ years of sales/service experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent education
• 2 years of client sales and service experience
• Experience with sourcing and prospecting for new clients and client relationship building
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office
• Must be SAFE compliant within 30 days of employment including NMLS background check
• Ability to multi-task under time constraints
• Ability to travel to accommodate temporary staffing needs
• Ability to work weekends and/or extended hours with occasional travel

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced client maintenance, problem resolution and sales functions across product lines
• Help meet service and branch sales targets by expanding and retaining client relationships
• Refer complex needs to internal specialists and conduct consultative conversations
• Participate in Retail Leadership routines and training sessions
• Advance product knowledge to better serve clients through ongoing learning
• Advise on consumer lending options and take loan applications
• Adhere to internal controls and risk management policies
• Assist with teller duties and greet clients to ensure a smooth branch experience
