Job summary

Huntington Bancshares, Inc. is seeking a Financial Relationship Banker to help customers achieve their financial goals in our branch. You will retain and grow consumer and business relationships by identifying needs and recommending deposit, loan and other banking services.

You will deliver outstanding service, educate customers on online and mobile banking, and work with colleagues to deepen connections while following all policies and regulations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED and minimum of 1 year customer service and sales in banking or related roles.
• Licenses: background check and fingerprinting as required by NMLS regulations.
• Bachelor's Degree and 1 year or more in customer service and sales is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Providing excellent customer service and effectively resolving customer issues.
• Proactively identifies opportunities to grow customer relationships through pre-set appointments, Centers of Influence, a disciplined sales process, new customer follow-up program, and referrals.
• Educating and referring customers to other areas of the bank to deepen relationships and internal partnerships.
• Educating customers on how to optimize their use of bank technology (online, mobile, and ATM banking)
• Maintaining your knowledge of all products, services, technology and policies.
• Adhering to all operational, security, risk and regulatory policies and procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.
