Job summary

Huntington Bancshares, Inc. is seeking a Relationship Banker to retain and grow consumer and business customer relationships by proactively identifying financial goals and needs, and recommending appropriate deposit, loan, and other banking products and services.

You will provide excellent service, resolve issues, and promote bank technology usage while maintaining product and policy knowledge in a compliant, customer-focused environment.

Qualifications

• 2 years customer service and sales in banking, financial services or goal driven retail sales.
• 1 year consumer and business deposit products - lending knowledge OR Business to Business sales experience.

Responsibilities

• Providing excellent customer service and effectively resolving customer issues.
• Proactively identifies opportunities to grow customer relationships through appointments, centers of influence, a disciplined sales process, new customer follow-up, and referrals.
• Educating customers on how to optimize their use of bank technology (online, mobile, and ATM).
• Maintaining knowledge of products, services, technology and policies.
• Adhering to all operational, security, risk and regulatory policies and procedures.
• Demonstrating acumen in sales, customer service, relationship management, banking, consumer lending, business banking, business lending, communication and presentation.
