Job summary

Huntington National Bank is seeking a Financial Relationship Banker to help consumer and business customers achieve their financial goals by identifying needs and recommending deposit, loan, and other banking products and services.

You will retain and grow customer relationships through proactive outreach, appointments, and referrals, while educating customers on online and mobile banking and maintaining knowledge of bank policies.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or GED with 1+ year of customer service/sales in banking or related field.
• Preferred bachelor’s degree and proven ability to build and retain relationships in banking.
• Strong knowledge of banking products, services, and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Providing excellent customer service and effectively resolving customer issues.
• Proactively identifies opportunities to grow customer relationships through appointments, centers of influence, a disciplined sales process, and referrals.
• Educating and referring customers to other areas of the bank to deepen relationships and build partnerships.
• Educating customers on how to optimize their use of bank technology (online, mobile, and ATM banking)
• Maintaining knowledge of all products, services, technology and policies.
• Adhering to all operational, security, risk and regulatory policies and procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.
