Columbia Bank is seeking a Relationship Banker to build long-term client relationships and provide customized financial solutions. You will engage clients in reviews, open new accounts, and originate consumer and some small business loans, while educating customers on digital and traditional banking options.

The role emphasizes proactive outreach, community engagement, and collaboration with internal partners to meet client needs and drive growth. On-site location in Sacramento, CA.

Qualifications

• 2 years of banking and/or demonstrated sales experience.
• 2 years developing client relationships and achieving sales goals.
• 2 years in lending with loan origination and processing.
• Knowledge of consumer and business products and services.
• Ability to understand cash flow and financial statements.

Responsibilities

• Open new deposit accounts and originate consumer loans.
• Originate consumer loans and some small business loans and build loan/deposit portfolio.
• Educate customers about digital and traditional solutions.
• Perform proactive outbound calls to current and prospective customers.
• Partner with branch Manager for outbound business development meetings.
• Develop a pipeline from in-branch and outreach activities.
• Provide outstanding service aligned with Breakthrough Client Service Standards.
