Job summary

Huntington Bancshares, Inc. in New Lenox, IL is seeking a Financial Relationship Banker to help customers achieve their financial goals.

You will retain and grow consumer and business relationships by identifying needs and recommending deposit, loan, and other banking products. Responsibilities include delivering exceptional service, proactively growing relationships through appointments and referrals, and educating customers on online and mobile banking while adhering to all policies.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED plus 1 year customer service and sales in banking, financial services or goal driven retail sales, or B2B sales experience or military service in an administration, contracting, civil affairs or similar role.
• Licenses: background check requirements including fingerprints per NMLS regulations.
• Bachelor's Degree and 1+ year in customer service and sales in banking, financial services or B2B sales experience.

Responsibilities

• Providing excellent customer service and effectively resolving customer issues.
• Proactively identifies opportunities to grow customer relationships through appointments, Centers of Influence, referrals, and partnerships.
• Educating customers on bank products, services, and technology.
• Maintaining knowledge of all products, services, technology and policies.
• Adhering to operational, security, risk and regulatory policies.
• Other duties as assigned.
