Job summary

Huntington Bancshares, Inc. is seeking a Financial Relationship Banker at our branch to deliver excellent customer service, grow consumer and business relationships, and help customers meet their financial goals.

You will identify needs, recommend deposits and loans, and guide customers in using online and mobile banking while maintaining strong risk and regulatory compliance. You will work in a collaborative branch environment, proactively opening opportunities with customers and partners, and

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED and minimum of 1 year customer service and sales in banking, financial services or goal driven retail sales.
Background check requirements including fingerprints per NMLS regulations.
Bachelor's Degree and 1 year or more in customer service and sales in banking, financial services or goal driven retail sales.

Responsibilities

Providing excellent customer service and effectively resolving customer issues.
Proactively identifies opportunities to grow customer relationships through appointments, Centers of Influence, a disciplined sales process, new customer follow-up program, and referrals from customers, bank colleagues and partners.
Educating and referring customers to other areas of the bank to deepen relationships and build strong internal partnerships.
Educating customers on how to optimize their use of bank technology (online, mobile, and ATM banking).
Maintaining knowledge of all products, services, technology and policies.
Adhering to all operational, security, risk and regulatory policies and procedures.
Other duties as assigned.
