Citizens is seeking a Personal Banker in the United States to build lasting customer relationships while delivering personalized financial solutions and exceptional service. You will help customers open accounts, discuss lending options, and navigate digital banking services to meet their financial goals.

In this role, you will also support business development, collaborate with teammates, and ensure compliance with bank policies. A customer-focused mindset and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required with 2–4 years of customer service experience, preferably in banking.
• NMLS certification within 1 year of employment.

Responsibilities

• Relationship Management & Customer Service: Build and strengthen customer relationships by providing personalized service, educating customers on Citizens' products and services, and delivering an exceptional banking experience.
• Account Opening & Financial Solutions: Open consumer and business deposit accounts, assist with digital banking solutions, and recommend products and services that meet customers' financial needs and goals.
• Consumer Lending: Identify lending opportunities, assist customers with loan products, originate eligible loan applications, and guide customers through the lending process.
• Business Development: Support branch business development by building community relationships, participating in outreach activities, and collaborating with partners to identify referrals.
• Branch Operations: Support teller transactions and branch operations while maintaining compliance with policies and regulatory requirements.
