Job summary

Truist Financial Corporation is seeking a regular, full-time associate to deliver exceptional client service in person and over the phone while expanding relationships. The role includes teller duties as needed and cross-training for financial solutions and lending options.

Responsibilities include handling maintenance requests, meeting sales targets, and supporting the branch team with product knowledge and customer guidance, with a focus on regulatory compliance and quality service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent education.
• 2 years of client sales and service experience.
• Experience with sourcing and prospecting for new clients and client relationship building.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office.
• Must be SAFE (Mortgage Licensing Act) compliant within 30 days, including NMLS background check.
• Ability to multi-task under time constraints.
• Ability to travel to accommodate temporary staffing needs and possibly weekends/extended hours.

Responsibilities

• Exercises advanced proficiency with routine client maintenance requests, problem resolution and advanced sales functions regarding deposit, credit, convenience and other product and service lines.
• Contributes to meeting or exceeding client service and sales targets by expanding and retaining relationships.
• Supports sales process by referring more complex needs to internal specialists.
• Participates in the Retail Community Bank Leadership routines.
• Attends sales, service and product knowledge meetings and applicable training classes.
• Advises on consumer lending options and takes loan applications.
• Adheres to internal controls and risk management policies.
