Job summary

Truist Wealth in Bridgewater, VA is seeking a Relationship Banker to deliver an industry-leading client service experience both in person and by phone, while developing new and existing client relationships. You will provide financial solutions through consultative conversations and referrals to other business partners for growth opportunities.

The role includes cross-training to perform teller duties as needed, supporting branch sales targets, and maintaining compliance with policies and risk

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2 years of client sales and service experience.
• Experience with sourcing and prospecting for new clients and client relationship building.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to interact with clients and prospects.
• Proficiency in basic computer applications, including Microsoft Office.
• Must be SAFE compliant within 30 days of employment and pass NMLS background checks.
• Ability to multi-task under time constraints.
• Ability to travel to accommodate temporary staffing needs and occasional weekends/overnights.

Responsibilities

• Provide industry-leading client service experience in person and by phone.
• Develop and expand new and existing client relationships with consultative conversations.
• Refer more complex needs to internal specialists to grow business opportunities.
• Participate in branch leadership routines and maintain compliance with policies.
• Attend training and product knowledge sessions to improve sales techniques.
• Advise on consumer lending options and take loan applications.
• Adhere to internal controls and risk management policies.
• Handle teller transactions and greet clients to ensure a consistent service experience.
