Job summary

QCR Holdings, Inc. is seeking a Relationship Banker for our Retail Banking team. In this role you will develop and deepen relationships with consumer and small business clients, delivering exceptional service and tailored financial solutions.

You will conduct needs assessments, open accounts, cross-sell products, and collaborate with lending teams to grow our client base while ensuring compliant documentation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two years’ experience in banking, client service, or related field with cash handling preferred.
• Excellent client service skills.
• Capability to prioritize and execute a variety of tasks simultaneously, at times in a demanding environment.
• Data entry utilizing banking software and Microsoft 365 with high accuracy.
• Strong decision making, critical thinking, and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Source and build long term relationships with clients, understand financial needs and provide solutions.
• Open bank accounts for current and new clients and oversee transactions.
• Maintain knowledge of all bank products and services.
• Answer questions and provide resolutions to service challenges.
• Promote cross-sell of retail bank loans, deposits, and electronic services.
• Maintain orderly follow-up by mail and telephone to onboard new relationships.
• Collaborate with business development and lending teams to establish new clients.
• Coordinate and participate in sales presentations at partnership meetings.
• Achieve monthly partnership event goals and branch targets.
• Maintain knowledge of internal audit procedures, laws, and bank policies.
• Assist clients with HSAs, IRAs, fiduciary, and small business products.
• Assist clients with consumer lending needs, including loan applications.
• Provide information on rates and fees while complying with disclosures and privacy policies.
• Follow security procedures and protect client confidentiality.
• Support audits and regulatory examinations with urgency.
• Comply with company policies and requirements applicable to this position.
• Invest in community partnerships and participate in events to support our brand and culture.
• Foster a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion.
