Job summary

Technology Credit Union seeks a Relationship Banker to serve members with a full range of financial products in a retail branch. You’ll balance exceptional service with sales aptitude, identifying needs and converting interactions into referrals.

Responsibilities include handling transactions, opening accounts, processing loan applications, and contributing to direct sales growth in mortgage and auto lending while complying with regulations and policies.

• Proven ability to develop positive interpersonal connections on limited-time interactions.
• Strong service-to-sales orientation with the ability to translate member needs into appropriate financial solutions.
• Demonstrated rapport-building, active listening, and consultative communication skills.
• Proactive follow-up mindset with the ability to manage multiple member relationships simultaneously.
• Baseline fluency across core financial products and services.

Responsibilities

• Performs a wide variety of banking transactions with minimal supervision.
• Delivers exceptional member service, ensuring requests and/or issues are researched and resolved in a timely manner.
• Opens, closes and balances cash drawer daily, ensuring proper handling of cash and negotiables.
• Maintains current knowledge of Tech CU products/services and competitive landscape.
• Participates in Tech CU training as guided by manager, including compliance, product knowledge and sales skills.
• Meets sales goals ethically and in compliance with regulatory requirements.
