First Merchants Bank seeks a Customer Relationship Representative to help the banking center meet its goals by delivering high-quality service, accurately processing transactions, opening deposit accounts, and handling loan applications while recommending products and digital tools to meet clients' financial needs.

You will engage clients in meaningful conversations, manage relationships, and support sales goals through use of CRM and digital tools, while adhering to controls and regulatory

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Minimum 1 year banking, sales, or related experience.
• S.A.F.E Act registration required by NMLS.
• Ability to obtain Notary Public designation.
• Ability to multi-task in fast-paced environment.
• In-depth knowledge of bank products/services.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality customer service by addressing a wide range of general banking needs in a fast-paced environment.
• Open new consumer and business accounts and process loan applications.
• Process deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and other transactions with accuracy.
• Educate clients and enroll them in electronic banking products and services.
• Document client interactions using CRM tools and support sales activities.
