Job summary

U.S. Bank is seeking a Relationship Banker to engage customers across in-person, appointment, and virtual channels with a digital-first mindset. You will assess client needs, educate on deposits/loans, and open accounts while partnering with branch teammates to deliver excellent service.

The role requires NMLS registration and a focus on proactive outreach, strong communication, and adherence to bank policies. Retail banking experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Typically has less than four years of job-related, retail banking experience or a combination of experience and commensurate training.
• Proven ability to build and foster relationships with clients through proactive outreach and follow up.
• Ability to effectively engage and communicate with clients.
• Thorough knowledge of applicable bank and branch policies, procedures and support systems.
• Proven customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with using and demonstrating digital products and self-service technologies.

Responsibilities

• Builds and fosters relationships with clients through proactive outreach and follow up.
• Identifies solutions for new and existing clients based on their needs by effectively engaging and communicating with clients.
• Maintains a working knowledge of consumer and business banking products and services including digital products and services.
• Opens new consumer and business accounts, completes service requests and submits credit applications.
• Proactively educates clients on emerging and self-service digital products and services to assist with meeting their financial needs.
