Job summary

U.S. Bank is seeking a Relationship Banker to build trusted client relationships across in-person, appointment, and digital channels, assessing banking needs and presenting suitable deposit and loan solutions.

You will open new accounts, process basic transactions, and educate clients on digital tools while collaborating with branch teams. A high school diploma and basic retail banking experience are typically required, with a focus on exceptional service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Typically has less than four years of job-related, retail banking experience or a combination of experience and commensurate training.
• Proven ability to build and foster relationships with clients through proactive outreach and follow up.
• Ability to effectively engage and communicate with clients.
• Thorough knowledge of applicable bank and branch policies, procedures and support systems.
• Proven customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with using and demonstrating digital products and self-service technologies.
• Ability to explore and identify a customer’s true needs while leveraging a digital first mindset.
• Demonstrated basic level of proficiency in making appropriate recommendations that meet customer’s needs both reactively and proactively.
• Experience in the financial services industry preferred.
