Job summary

East West Bank is seeking an Associate Banker in California to deliver high-quality relationship banking across channels. You will assist customers with daily financial needs, open accounts, and guide them to Wealth Management, Mortgage and Commercial experts as needed.

We seek candidates with prior teller or customer service experience, strong attention to detail, and comfort with digital banking tools. Training will be provided to expand product knowledge and client relationships.

Qualifications

• Customer service and cash handling experience required or preferred.
• Financial institution teller/new account experience preferred.
• Ability to learn products, services, and procedures quickly.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and time management.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Weekend availability as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with cash transactions, deposits, and withdrawals.
• Process loans, transfers, and foreign currency as applicable.
• Refer products and services to meet customer needs.
• Explain online and mobile banking options to customers.
• Maintain customer relationships and ensure compliance with policies.
• Identify and report potential fraudulent activity.
