Job summary

East West Bank is seeking an Associate Banker to deliver high-quality relationship banking across customer touchpoints. You will assist customers with daily financial needs, promote suitable products, and connect clients to Wealth Management, Mortgage, and Commercial specialists.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, 1 year of customer service and cash handling, and familiarity with digital banking tools. This on-site role offers growth and strong client service opportunities.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED; bachelor’s preferred.
1 year of customer service and cash handling experience.
1 year teller / new account experience in banking.

Responsibilities

Demonstrate strong customer service; assist with cash withdrawals, deposits, transfers, loan/credit card payments, wire transfers and foreign currency exchange.
Document large deposits over Currency Transaction Reports.
Identify fraudulent activity to prevent potential loss to the bank.
Ensure transactions comply with policies, procedures and regulatory requirements.
Maintain relationships with existing customers and cultivate new ones.
Cross-sell and refer bank products such as depository products, wealth management, mortgage.
Educate clients on using digital banking tools and self-service portals.
