Job summary

Truist in Louisville, KY is seeking a Regular, English-speaking teller/customer service professional to support client relationships in person and over the phone. You will develop financial solutions through consultative conversations and referrals to internal partners to grow business.

You may be cross-trained for teller duties as needed. Responsibilities include handling deposits, lending discussions, maintaining a compliant control environment, and contributing to branch sales targets.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent education.
• 2 years of client sales and service experience.
• Experience with sourcing and prospecting for new clients.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficient in basic computer applications (Microsoft Office).
• SAFE (Mortgage Licensing Act) compliant within 30 days and compliant with background checks.
• Ability to multi-task under time constraints.
• Willingness to travel to accommodate temporary staffing needs.
• Weekend and extended hours availability.

Responsibilities

• Handle teller transactions and maintain client relationships.
• Meet or exceed client service and branch sales targets.
• Conduct consultative conversations and refer complex needs to specialists.
• Participate in branch leadership routines.
• Advance knowledge of sales techniques and product knowledge.
• Advise on consumer lending options and take loan applications.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and policies.
• Greet clients and assist them navigating the branch.
