Job summary

Truist in Owensboro, KY is seeking a Regular, full-time Client Service Associate to deliver industry-leading service in person and on the phone. You will build and expand client relationships and coordinate referrals for growth opportunities, with cross-training to perform teller duties as needed.

You will handle consultative conversations, support sales targets, and progress through training to improve product knowledge and service quality. Weekend hours and occasional travel may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of client sales and service experience.
• Experience sourcing and prospecting for new clients and building relationships.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for interacting with clients and prospects.
• Proficiency with basic computer applications, including Microsoft Office.
• SAFE compliant within 30 days, including NMLS background check and regulatory requirements.
• Ability to multi-task under time constraints and travel as needed.
• Weekend/extended hours and occasional travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Manage routine client requests, problem resolution, and sales activities across deposit, credit, and other product lines.
• Work to meet or exceed client service and branch sales targets by expanding and retaining relationships.
• Refer complex needs to internal specialists and support the sales process with consultative discussions.
• Engage in leadership routines and ongoing sales/product knowledge training.
• Advise on consumer lending options and take loan applications.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and policies while assisting clients in-branch.
• Greet clients, conduct transactions, and identify opportunities to help clients navigate services.
