Job summary

Truist Financial Corporation is seeking a Customer Service/Sales Associate for our retail branch in the United States. The role focuses on delivering exceptional client service both in person and by phone, expanding client relationships, and guiding customers toward financial solutions through consultative conversations.

You will be cross-trained to perform teller duties, support sales processes, and refer complex needs to internal specialists. Regular weekend and extended hours may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2 years of client sales and service experience.
• Experience with sourcing and prospecting for new clients and client relationship building.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including a desire to interact with clients and prospects.
• Proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office.
• Must be SAFE (Mortgage Licensing Act) compliant within 30 days of employment in this role, including new or transfer of registration and applicable NMLS background check which includes meeting applicable financial responsibility, character, credit fitness and criminal background standards.
• Ability to multi-task under time constraints.
• Ability to travel to accommodate temporary staffing needs as required to include temporary assignment or locale changes.
• Ability to work weekends and/or extended hours with occasional travel and overnights may be included.

• Provide industry leading client service in person and by phone to build relationships.
• Offer financial solutions based on consultative conversations and referrals.
• Cross trained to perform teller duties as needed.
• Maintain and resolve routine client requests and sales opportunities.
• Contribute to meeting branch service and sales targets.
• Refer complex needs to internal specialists.
• Participate in Retail Community Bank Leadership routines.
• Attend sales, service and product knowledge training sessions.
• Advise on consumer lending options and take loan applications.
