Hylant is seeking a Captive Reinsurance Accountant to support evaluation and management of reinsurance contracts, claims, and reinsurer relationships. You will ensure compliance with policies, efficient claim settlements, and effective collaboration with reinsurers.

Prepare technical, financial accounting of premiums, claims, and reserves, and contribute to process improvements. Travel for meetings and conferences as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• At least 3 years in reinsurance accounting or related field.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Outlook, Teams).
• Strong relationship-building skills and English fluency.

Responsabilités

• Review reinsurance contracts for policy adherence.
• Process and settle reinsurance claims accurately.
• Generate reports and analyses for decision-making.
• Advise internal stakeholders on statutory and reinsurance accounting.
• Identify process improvements and standardize procedures.
• Attend training and stay updated on systems and changes.
• Maintain SOPs and training guides with Captive Account Executives.
• Handle special projects as needed.
