Job summary

University of Michigan Center for Reproductive Medicine in Ann Arbor is seeking an Advanced Practice Professional (APP) to join our REI team. The position supports fertility evaluation, ovulation induction, IUI, IVF, embryo transfer, and fertility preservation through a collaborative, patient-centered approach.

The role accepts eligible NPs or PAs with Michigan licensure and appropriate specialty certification, working within a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
• Current licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse and Nurse Practitioner in Michigan.
• Current specialty certification as Family Nurse Practitioner, Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner, or Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner.
• Current national Nurse Practitioner certification recognized by Michigan.
• Current DEA registration.
• Current American Heart Association-approved BLS certification.
• Minimum five years APP experience in REI, fertility care, women’s health, OB/GYN, adult acute or critical care, or surgical specialty.

Responsibilities

• Conduct new-patient and follow-up visits, treatment planning, and postprocedural care.
• Obtain histories, perform focused examinations, develop evidence-based plans of care.
• Manage patients undergoing ovulation induction, IUI, IVF, and fertility preservation with REI team.
• Order and interpret labs, imaging, and other studies; coordinate follow-up.
• Educate patients about diagnoses, medications, monitoring, and time-sensitive instructions.
• Perform approved procedures such as pelvic ultrasound and IUI; document care accurately.
